It's true! I hate to tell you your child is telling the truth, but they are! The kids were great for the most part taking care of me and making sure teaching was easier for me in my handicapped state.
I told one child, "Hey, you would make a great nurse!" Guess what? I really meant it! They have been amazing!
Unfortunately, I had ANOTHER case of bullying in my classroom. This was the LAST straw. I have forewarned everyone I do NOT tolerate bullying. If this is happening to your child, and they have mentioned it to you and you don't think I'm aware SHOOT ME AN EMAIL or CALL. I need to know!
TONIGHT IS MEET THE TEACHER NIGHT! Your child will earn three free homework passes AND a five point extra credit to the choice of their choice. I also am going to throw in another free pass that is a SURPRISE! This is a great time for us to really get to know one another and for you to ask me questions about anything that might have already come up! I hope to see you ALL there.
Homework:
Turn in Monday Folder SIGNED.
Spelling words 3x each and study.
Social Studies Vocabulary Test. NEW WORDS. Most kids did not pass this past week, I kindly gave them a retest. However, I will NOT be doing this again.
Math test Wednesday: They have a math journal they could bring home to study with.
DOL and DOM quiz Wednesday.
